The tactile adaptations of the exhibits presented during the lectures  have been made by Lech Kolasiński, a painting artist. Thanks to the graphic adaptations blind and partially sighted persons are able to become familiar with the exhibit through touch.
Moreover, each edition of the To Touch Culture event features a presentation of adapted exhibits on view at the Jagiellonian University’s Collegium Maius Museum. Such adaptations take into account the perception of persons with sight disability and are developed by students of Design at the Pedagogical University of Cracow. The course where interesting ideas concerning alternative ways of presenting museum exhibits are born is supervised by Malwina Antoniszczak. Her students acquire knowledge on sight disability during training sessions delivered at the JU Disability Support Service.
From 2015 onwards, we award the most interesting and innovative ideas for such adaptations or those found most impressive by the audience at the event.
